A Bit About Climax LLC
Our company was established in 1987 in San Marcos, California, and is currently known as one of
the leading manufacturers of archival film sleeving for the photo industry in the United States.
Climax LLC has become a standard of the photo industry, and is known today as a full-service
supplier to the largest professional photo labs in the United States and countries in Europe.
The second branch of the company was opened in Bristol, TN, in 2000, and it is currently the
corporate headquarters. Also, all manufacturing moved from California to Tennessee.
Since the company has been serving the professional photo lab market domestically and
internationally, other product lines were included.
In 2003, Climax LLC started doing online ordering, including Ar-Kive film sleeves. To address the
growing digital market, a website for the company was also launched in 2005. In addition, the
company started producing wide format printers and ink, premium inkjet paper lines, and
accessories for digital cameras.
In 2009, the company also started cooperation with Hydra International, a company specializing in
water management control, and became a distributor in the United States for their line of Hydra
Aqua pond products.
